Who we are

Perfect Insulations, 133, 10th A Main Road, 3rd Stage, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru 560010, Karnataka, India, is a manufacturer and converter of thermal interface materials and electrical insulation (since 1995, ISO 9001:2015, GSTIN 29BALPM6704P2ZW). 02 Data

What we collect

  • Enquiries and quote requests: name, phone, email (optional), company, GSTIN (optional), the product and requirement text you write, and an optional PDF or drawing you attach.
  • Orders placed on the website: name, phone, email, company, GSTIN, billing and delivery address, the items ordered, and the UPI payment reference you enter after paying. We never see your UPI PIN or bank login; the UPI payment happens in your own payment app.
  • Chat widget (home page): the message you type, the topic you chose, the page, your browser's user-agent string and your IP address. The IP address is looked up by your browser from a third-party service (api.ipify.org) and stored with the message.
  • WhatsApp buttons: when you use a “WhatsApp” button that opens a pre-written message, we log the page, the message text and, if you had typed them into our quote form first, your name and phone.
  • Where you came from: the referring website, campaign tags in the link (utm_*), and — if you arrived from a Google ad — the ad's click identifier (gclid / gbraid / wbraid) and campaign number. These are kept in your browser for up to 90 days and saved with any enquiry or order you send, so we can tell which channel produced it.
  • Your cookie choice (accept or decline), kept in your browser.

Forms are optional: you can instead call, email or message us on WhatsApp.

03 Use

How we use it

  • To answer enquiries, prepare quotations, process and dispatch orders, issue GST invoices and keep the business records Indian law requires.
  • To follow up on your request by phone, email or WhatsApp. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To protect the inbox: enquiries that look like automated spam (for example random-letter names or repeated bursts from the same address) are held aside in a separate, staff-only store instead of the main inbox. A genuine enquiry caught by mistake can be recovered from it.
  • To measure which pages and advertisements lead to enquiries and orders (section 5).

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party marketing.

04 Processors

Who else handles it

  • Supabase — the database and file storage for enquiries, orders and attachments (hosted in the Asia-Pacific (Singapore) region).
  • Netlify — hosts this website and receives standard web-server logs.
  • Google — Google Fonts and an embedded Google Map load from Google's servers when you view the pages that use them, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement are described in section 5.
  • Other content services — code libraries and icons load from jsDelivr and cdnjs, and the chat widget uses api.ipify.org to read your IP address.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us there; the conversation is then governed by WhatsApp's own terms.
  • Courier and logistics partners — receive only the delivery address and contact number needed to deliver your order.

Staff access to enquiry and order records is limited to our CRM users.

05 Advertising

Analytics and Google Ads

We may run Google Ads and use Google Analytics to understand which pages and ads lead to enquiries and orders. Where we do, a notice on this website asks for your choice first, and you can change it later from “Cookie settings” in the page footer.

  • What is measured: page views and these events — an enquiry was saved, a UPI order was placed or its payment reported, and a tap on a WhatsApp, phone or email link. Events never include your name, phone number, email, company, GSTIN or message text.
  • If you decline: no Google measurement or advertising cookies are set. Google's tags may still send anonymous, cookieless pings (no cookie, no personal identifier).
  • If you accept: Google may set cookies (for example _ga, _gcl_aw) to link an ad click to a later enquiry.
  • Reporting sales back to Google Ads: when an enquiry becomes a quotation or an order and the payment is verified, we may tell Google Ads that this click led to a sale. This uses the ad click identifier and, unless you declined the cookie notice, your email address and phone number in hashed (SHA-256) form, so Google can match them to its own signed-in users. Google uses this only to measure and improve our advertising.
  • What we turn off: Google Signals and ad personalisation signals are not enabled for our website measurement.

Control it yourself: you can also use your browser's Global Privacy Control setting, block cookies, or opt out via Google Ads Settings and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a decline.

06 Storage

Cookies and browser storage

  • Set by us (local storage, not cookies): your quote cart, your cookie choice, where your visit came from (up to 90 days), a record of which enquiries and orders were already reported to measurement (so none is counted twice), and a per-tab chat session identifier.
  • Set by Google (only after you accept): measurement and advertising cookies as described in section 5.
  • Clearing your browser data removes all of the above. Your cart and your cookie choice will then be forgotten.
07 Retention

How long we keep it

  • Orders, invoices and payments: 7 years, as required by Indian GST and accounting rules.
  • Enquiries that do not become orders: kept in our CRM so we can follow up; ask us to delete yours at any time.
  • Browser-held attribution: up to 90 days.
